Training concept for automated robots in deconstruction
Since beginning of 2021, AiNT has been participating in the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project CLEANDEM for the development of an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) which is equipped with innovative radiological sensing probes. The robotic platform is developed in a consortium of 11 partners from four different countries with the goal to provide a technological breakthrough for Decommisioning & Dismantling operations of nuclear facilities. In November 2021 AiNT delivered a training concept for this purpose, which is an important component for the successful transfer of robot technology in the nuclear sector.
