HACKATHON WITHIN THE PROJECT METALCLASS

On the weekend from September 10 to September 12, 2021 a hackathon – organized by the AI Community and TH OWL, took place as a part of the MetalClass project. The goal was to develop machine learning methods for the classification of metal alloys. Four teams, consisting of students studying computer science from different German universities, worked for 48 hours on several problems from the project MetalClass. The prize money of 1000 € was won by the team „Humanoid Hyperparametertuning“ from TH OWL in Lemgo. We from AiNT congratulate! Also our colleagues had a lot of fun discussing the solutions and supporting the students during that weekend.
