PROJECT ASHCON - START OF TRIAL ANALYSES

Within the ASHCON project, AiNT GmbH will provide the project partners with measurement results (multi-element analysis) of sample material. Beneficial for the neutron activation analysis in this context is that the sample material does not have to be prepared and a larger sample mass (in the range of kilograms) is analysed. TH Cologne delivered the first batch of sample material an December 1, 2021 comprising two samples each of treated and untreated repository material. The analyses with the ZEBRA measuring system will be carried out in 2022.
